Basically 2 days of leaves is good :D Spent time yesterday going to Qian Hu and Chinatown with my dad and uncle. I enjoyed the moment where we walked around aimlessly see-ing stuffs and fishes at Qian Hu. I wanted to buy but they are having stock check. After that, we went to Chinatown. It's been a long time since I stepped onto this ground and I can felt that my dad is very happy as this is his favourite place and we walked around and had lunch at one of the coffeeshop before going home. It's not all wassted because I got to spend time with my father. :D

My journey of NS is not that smooth as I had some injury happened on me. ENT appointment on this Wednesday and I had my ingrown toe nail being treated with pain ! The MO is sick ! I missed live range and field camp..the 2 high key events that every soldier must complete.. I felt that I am weak.

Long weekend for me to relax and enjoy things that I havent really done. There is 4 full days for me to spend and I must said I spent well.

Friday: Went to collect my HTC Snap which dropped on the taxi on my way home from camp.
Went to watch Harry Potter with my bro and dad.
Went to buy 2 new pants.

Saturday: Slack at home the whole day and sleep

Sunday: Went to eat Sakura Buffet with my family.
Went to buy some army stuff

Monday: Watch some movie on Funshion
Slack at home.

Tuesday: Slack and ready to go back camp at 3.30pm

Time just don't waste for us, a glimpse of second and I had served 3 weeks of NS. I am bokking in today and this maarked my 4th week in army..meaning 1 month. So far so good, just started to get used to the army life but there is still 3 months more for me to endure. It's not only me that needs to endure, everyone..lols..book in is always sian but you have to book in no matter wad's happening.

I will be enlisting tml which is 10th of June 2011. I have waited this day very long ever since I knew that I had to go for NS. I have heard many stories regarding NS but then I felt that I need to experience myself to know it better. When I was back in sec schl, my parent encouraged me to train my fitness so that I can cope with the NS's requirement and to prevent serving extra 2 months but I thought that it's still far from it but time really flies and now is the time.

My dad kept telling me his olden days when serving his NS. I felt that those army are really super shag coz it's really triple more tough than what is it now. Back in my dad's era, foods were unproperly cooked, toilets had to clean by itself and all the vuglarities will shoot out if you never do it properly. As technologies advanced and people are more educated, this type of scenes were rarely seen because parents will know how to complain.

Well, as for me, I will view it as an new experience for me and to give myself a new challenge. I also take this time to learn more things and to build up my fitness level at the same time. It's not only me who needs to serve NS, every man is required.

Of course there are no games, tv or lappy to use and play so I guess it also train me not to rely too much on this gadgets.

So alright, time to have a rest tml and set off.. CYa in 2 weeks time :D as this probably is my book out day..then I probably have to go back again in 1-2 days and back once every week.

Well, 2 days left and I am going in for NS. To be frank, Enlistment in 10th June means that I had failed my fitness test. In this few months, I had trained and although I had improved but then it still not enough. I am going in 2 months earlier to build up my fitness level before proceeding to 9 weeks BMT (Basic military training).

Well, I don't know when I will be coming to this blog and write someting about it. Cya folks.

I am down with sickness for the past 1 week. I think it's the weather that causes it and I can't jog coz with flu, I can't even breath smoothly. 13 days and counting and I am ready to serve the NS. I decided to cut Botak before going in ..more nicer. HAHAHA.

Been watching movies lately ..I have watched Priest and Fast and Furious 1-3. TO me, Priest is just an ordinary movie talking about the same old story between Vampires and Priest. The thing I like about this movie is the action packed secene which is done fantastically well. 3 stars I would say. As for F&F, it's one of the most popular movie series and it doesn't disappoint me when I watched it, just movie I would say, I am going to watc F&F 5 soon.

I have changed my HP to HTC Snap non-cam. Hmm, still adjusted to the style because it's totally different and windows phone doesn't had much applications yet. I had to buy Twitter apps but worth it since I going to use for a couple of years.

RP's graduation ceremony held between 9th May to 12th May 2011 and for DBC students, it's held at 7th May 2011. It's not only DBC but all courses within SIT (School of Information Technology) will be held on this date. Prepared early for this as we are required to buy the robe and I went to buy a tie at a very last mintue to fulfil the dress code by the school as well as enhance my apperance. Upon receiving my Diploma certificate and transcript, I looked at it and I am statisfied with my results except for FYP G302 which I got a D+, long story about and it will go on and on complaining about it.


With this Diploma certificate, I will at least find a decent job but of course there are many students out there who are better than me academically. Nevertheless, I am preparing to study and work at the same time after completing my NS. That's my thought but we will never know what's lie in front of us. Probably the next journey would be the NS (National Service) which roughly wasting 2 years of my life doing marching and holding guns.


In the mean time, I just relax and wait for my enlistment dates.. :)

For this whole month, the main focus of the SG will be the General Election and the results of the election. I watched the polling results yesterday till morning 3am. Congratz to the party that successfully been selected and hopefully the new government formed can make Singapore a more vibrant, secure and safe city.

After watching the polling result which ended at 3am, I had another 1 hour+ sleep before setting off to Malaysia for a praying trip. We went to a Kampong which she made it into a mini temple to help visitors to answer their enquiry, it's located somewhere deep inside JB. She was kind enough to help us in the direction because our bus is confuse about the way out. She sat a motorbike and the bus followed closely behind her but unfortunately, she fell of from the motorbike...Because she was way in front, we couldn't actually know what's happening to her and by the time we saw her, her face was bleeding profusely and probably a leg broken in worst case. Pity her..Hope she recover soon.

After that, we went for lunch in a local restuarant and headed to another temple which includes several immortals and Thai Monk. There are 2 huge pond, one side for turtle and another pond for fishes. The weather is extremely killing, no choice but to buy some ice-cream and fruits to cool myself.

After that, we went to buy some local products and it taste fantastically well..I persuaded my mom to buy a few of it ..Yum..

Dinner is awesome and I'm back home around 8.30pm.

Wednesday will be my Grad ceremony and important day for me.

Watching soccer now and Chicharito scored in 36 seconds ..LOL..Man Utd 1-0 Chelsea currently and after Stoke City won Arsenal by 3-1, Arsenal's title hopes are gone.

This is the month "May" and time really flies. It almost half a year gone with a glimpse of second and here we are approaching the 2nd half of 2011. The main higlight of this year would be the "National Service" that I am going through this year. As mentioned, my enlistment date falls on 10th June 2011 and I will be serving for 2 years.

Hopefully everyhing goes well.

I went to buy 2 gaming gadgets in April. A Nintendo DS and PspGO. The analog for my PSP 2000 is faulty and I traded in to buy a PSPGO black. As for Nintendo DS, I just buy to play Pokemon. It might seems childish but Pokemon has never been outdated.

What shall I look forward for the 2nd half of the year:

1) Strike 4D.
2) National Service
3) 2012
4) All the prediction dates for "World End".
5) Polling results in SG (Release today in fact).

I am not eligble to cast a vote in this election 2011. I need to wait for another 5 years but nevertheless, I followed closely on this issues and gained some knowledge here and there so that the next election, I had a clearer picture of what's going on.

It's good friday and it's a public holiday. Booked a buffet resturant for lunch. Vienna restaurant is where we ate our lunch and it's our second time going there for buffet. A good lunch before going for some shopping. Brought 2 denizen T-shirt and one bag for army. The bag is big enough to squeeze all my belonging inside.

Pasar Malam seems not as "noisy" as before...I wanna buy a normal watch from Pasar Malam.

It's been quite a time since I came here and write an entry. Life has been normal till I received my NS Enlistment Letter. My enlistment day is at 10th June 2011 which is earlier than others coz of not hitting the fitness requirement. Nevertheless, it's a chance to train yourself fit not to only able to cope with the training but also to build up a healthy body. I am currently preparing all the requirement items to bring inside like alarm clock and inexpensive watch. I am also looking for a non-cam mobile phone coz when you are in the bunk, you can't bring cam-phone.

Life is as usual till now, nv found any work and just slack around or train up abit of my fitness level. I had improved gradually ever since I started my jogging 1 year ago. Although there is still a gap from the silver standard but bronze standard should be able to hit.

Craving for buffet before enlistment, eat as many as possible !

It's been so fast that now it April already. I am still waiting for my enlistment letter for my army. Currently, I am rotting and might be going for job hunting soon. NS makes my life messy and now I don't know what job to find..zzz.

I had been staying home doing nothing excepts for some movies and games and doing some exercises to prepare for my army. Btw, I had just received my results for my Year 3 and I am satisfied with every of the module except for my FYP which that stupid evaluator gave me D+ for it. It can be appeal but I see it as a waste of time and MONEY too.

I had worked for Fujitsu at the RP roadshow for the 4th day. It's a 5 days roadshow and tml will be the last day. I am not the sales personnel but a store man in charge of stocks. The amount of workload for Admin depends on the sales personnel. I am just slacking for the whole day. My job is to count stocks, packing and keep stocks. Tml last day, might be busy but just my guess.

There is another roadshow and I am still thinking whether I should continue or not. Super boring man, keep sit down and daydream.zz.

Recently received a job offer from Fujitsu to do a roadshow at RP. I will be going on the 7th-11th March and 21th-23th March. After that, will continue to look again till army.

Since at home, my few hobbies would be jogging, playing games, watching shows and soccer. These are some things I do when I am at home. I am waiting for some graduation news since I will be graduating this year.

UT is officially over but then I had doubts over whether to take UT4 or not for Macroeconomics because I had missed the UT1 of Macroeconomics. I am e-mailing my faci for more details and hopefully she can reply me asap.


No more schooling for me and I am waiting to be call for NS and at this moment, I am either applying for job or training my fitness to prepare for NS. Either would be a good way to spend my free time. I also be able to watch soccer.

Chinese New Year had over after 15 days and it marks the beginning of new year which is full of question mark because you don't what will happen this year. Anything can change in a split second.

My blog had just pass it's 3rd anniversary ..hopefully it stays :D

My life in RP had finally come to the end except that there are UTs for the following week.

Let's recap on what's happening in RP over the past 3 years:

W35E and W45H is my 2 classes when I am in year 1 which was a newbie back then without knowing how the RP PBL works. Fortunately, I had met a good class with good classmates to kick start my RP life. I still rmb that Year 1 was the most cooperative moments which everyone will went for lunch together at 1st break. There were some minor argument here and there but overall it was a fantastic semester. Some modules were suck like Cognitive module. Friends like WeiXian, Ralph, Shawn,etc.


Second semester seems to be a better one and one of my favorite class if I am told to pick. Friends like JieMin, Sean, Weiliang, Joyhan, Woam Shing and not to mention a few lamers and jokers around making it more interesting. We often went breakfast together and this is the time when I got to learn about CS and FM (Football Manager) and War of warcraft thanks to JieMin. I often looking forward to the PSP soccer league we created ourselves and ignore all the ppts preparing. Thanks to them, I had a bunch of rumors following me throughout the year. We had also stayed back to play Xbox too.


2nd Year 1st semester seems a bit boring than year 1. W65C was the class. I got to meet friends like SS and probably due to the modules, the expectation had risen and not much fun.

2nd year 2nd semester is also one of my favorite where I met more jokers like JY, Cyrus, Andy,etc. Most united class I would say. The whole class would be missing during 1st break for makan-ing. This is also where I found my FYP team. I still rmb how we bet about our Singh faci about the color of Turban. This is also the time where my rumors had also increased ..What a bunch of good friends..LOL

Year 3 seems a more stricter year as it's a graduation year. We started off with FYP and seems ok and there are more difficult modules. 2nd sem too, we are busying with FYPs and now we are preparing for UTs.

My current GPA is 3.13 and I expected to be around 3.06-3.12 by the end of my RP life. There are many many fun memories and I can't name all out here but this 3 years would definitely be one of my highlights in my life where I get to know more friends, more things, more knowledge and more mature.

UTs (Understanding Test) are around the corner and I am in the middle of preparing in order to get a decent grade. Next week would be the UT week as this week is the last week in terms of lesson. Definitely there are many memories behind during the 3 years in RP and I shall talk about it on my Friday's blog post. I had gotten my results for my Macroeconomics UT2 and it's B. Quite ok but then for UT3, I am gonna aim for A, same as other UT. The most worrying one would definitely be HRM (Human Resource Management) which I got D+ in my both previous UT.

My luck seems bad because I kept losing money during gamble and I lost about $30 in just a few days of gambling. Tough luck haha.

Today is the 3rd day of the CNY. I didn't really went out so stayed at home and rot. Gamble quite a lot this few day and of course there are win and lose. Relative came to my house and we chit chatted before went for my grandpa's birthday celebration. Waited for the food for a very long time because something happened to their top chef and they are lack of chef. After that went to my relative house to gamble again and lose aha. This is the only time when everyone sat down around the table and gamble. It's the atmosphere and not about winning or losing.

After tml will be the start of school for me. Last week of schling before having exams and that's it for my study life. After that will be waiting for enlistment and so on and so for....I will want to hunt for jobs during the waiting for army.

Today is Lunar new year eve and many of them will be returning home for reunion dinner. It's a tradition that everyone must be back for dinner gathering in front of a round table. The reason being that a new year should be started with the whole family and family members can chat about their current life and update each other.

Tonight when the clock strike 12, all the Chinese will be praying and it will be noisy as compared to normal days. Singapore popular places like Chinatown or Marina Bay will be full of people. I will be at Marina Bay with my family to celebrate CNY. I heard that there is firework and hopefully I can capture some of the nice sceneries out there.

Before that, of course we will had our own mini reunion dinner at some restaurant first.. :D

FYP presentation is over and now I finally know the real meaning of what is "Nonsense". The evaluator is nothing but a bullshiet trying to ask questions that is not linked with the project. Despite us answering his question with reasons, he still felt that he is correct and to speed up the evaluation process, I had decided not to talk back to waste time talking with me about all those bullshiet.

After FYP, we went to Kieski to had buffet, it's a Japanese and it's was delicious.

I had decided not to go NAPFA since I am prepared to go PTP. Transcript had written but I don't care. LOL.

Wednesday as usual is a rest day for me.

Finally completed the UT2 for all module as yesterday is the final UT2 (IT Security and Management). I had made some careless mistake which probably the grade that I hope for will only be a C or C+. I had gotten my BF UT2 results and it's a C. Many of them flunged their BF UT2 because it's difficult. I had started slowly revise my UT3 already before it's pulled down my GPA.

Lunar new year approaching in a week time and I haven't really brought any new year products. We might be buying in a few days time and hopefully the following year would be a great one.

FYP evaluation this friday and I think we are ready for it! I hope to get over it quickly and celebrate ! HAHAHAHAHA.

Seriously speaking, I was talking with one of my friend about creating a social networking website which gives people a chance to share their latest gossip they had. This concept is quite cool whereby gossip is what interest most of the people. What I mean gossip is that the gossip around you and your friend, not celebrity. You had a chance to share gossip and there is a rating system...still thinking over it but it's just a thought.

Yesterday I went to vocational assessment held at Sembawang Camp which was very shagged because it took a whole day. It's an assessment to gauge whether you are fit to become part of NDU. I don't know if I can totally exposed the whole process of the vocational assessment so I just briefly said it out.

Anyway, we had to be assessed by two area, physically and medical. Physically meaning to gauge your fitness level by some test like pull-up,etc. Medical is to like draw blood and hearing test, etc. I didn't went to the chamber pressure test because of some ear problem which I might not had the chance to be part of NDU.

After that having both lunch and dinner there, we had some physiological test which had over 300 questions which includes personality test.

The whole process took around 12hours and it ends at 7.30pm.

Wednesday is my day that I had no lesson. Never planning to go anywhere as I am tired, so sleeping like a log the whole afternoon. Anyway, Macroeconomics UT2 had just ended for me and I think that it's ok, hopefully to get some decent grade.

2 more weeks before Chinese New Year (Lunar) arrives and I am gonna buy some crackers and snack to eat. There are many stores already selling all this items and this is the period where everywhere will be crowded because people are buying CNY stuff to prepare for the upcoming New Year. I of course would not be celebrating as usual as mentioned in my previous few blog post but then we will still buying some items like food to eat.

The weather in Singapore seems unusual this few days. It's windy and cooling compared to last year whereby everyday is a sunny day. I mean it's nice to had such a good weather but it affected my training schedule because raining will make me cancelled my jogging. Other than that, it's cooling and when I woke up in the morning, I can feel the coldness.

Vocational Assessment on Friday, FYP submission on Monday, FYP evaluation on Friday. FYP reports left with system testing which I will be doing it and the next thing we must do will left the presentation slides and preparing for the evaluation. Our website had done it and it's on LIVE. As it's a survey system for a school, we can't had register page because it's not for public.

Anyway, gonna looking forward for SAT BPL action. That's what I always looking for during weekends. :)

The submission of FYP is just next week and we are almost complete except for some bugs to clear and test to conduct in order to prepare for the evaluation. There is confirm some mistakes here and there which we didn't notice and is being pointed out by the evaluators. No choice regarding that, they are more knowledgeable than us. After clearing the FYP evaluation, what's left would be UT3. I am on the midst of completing the UT2. Had finished Business Finance and HRM UT2 and it's was a hell paper. I don't think many can get a good grade this time especially for Business Finance.

VA (Vocational Assessment) for NDU (Naval Diving Unit) this Friday and I am applying LOA for this day. I gonna miss 2 HRM lesson. VA is one of the reason and FYP evaluation is another reason. Sigh.


Tuesday is my Macroeconomics UT2 and I am preparing for now. I saw this Razer Onza controller which is dam cool and I really wanted to buy it when it's out pre-order. Gonna had a pleasant time playing with such a cool controller although it's wired.

Gonna graduate in a few weeks time and I am currently searching for jobs, preferably sales-type jobs. I would like to work as a APPLE retailer.

UT2 is coming up in the next 2 weeks. I tried to aim a higher grade to compensate my lously grade for UT1. The final UT ends at 25th Jan. Exactly after my submission of my FYP. My evaluation will be at 28th Jan.

Today lesson was "Macroeconomic" and it talks about "Contractionary Fiscal Policy" and "Expansionary Fiscal Policy" which seems rather easy to find on the net itself since it' a common term for economist to use.

I want to change my Vocational Assessment because on the 25th Jan, I will be having IT Security UT2..Hopefully I can change to my wanted date.

On a normal as usual day, I received a letter from the Mindef telling me to go for a vocational assessment at 25th as a pre-check on whether you are suitable to go for the Naval Diver Unit. I am not really keen to be a Naval Diver because I do not have the physical fitness required to become a diver. Secondly, my relationship with the water had not been great over the past 10+ years. I had not go swimming for as long as 10 years. Basically I am going there for some fitness test like swimming, pulls-up and some other medical check like lungs,etc. After that, there will be a personality + IQ test and I heard that the whole process like from 7.30am to 7.30pm the earliest. ZZ

What part of my body is suitable for diver except my eyesight?! I failed my Napfa (Physical fitness not there), Failed my swimming (Not swimming for the past 10+ years), Relationship status with water: Bad !...zzz... Hopefully not selected for it because I hate it although it's a special unit force ! AND I heard that the training would be HELL.

My first blog post for the year 2011. First of all, a happy new year to all of you. Hopefully 2011 will be a better year than 2010.

Every student will be back to school again studying and preparing for their new semester exams/test/government exams (O levels). As for me, I will be preparing for the upcoming UT2 and also FYP which the submission date is 24th of Jan.

Speaking about UT1, I got a poor results. Business Finance = C+, IT Security = C and HRM (Human Resource Management) = D+. It's below my expectation and I am trying my best to get a good results in UT2. Hopefully it's an "A" for all. Currently preparing for Business Finance as it's one of the most difficult module to understand for me. As for HRM, I think my reading had not been that much therefore resulting in D+.

As for CE talks. I will need to attend more talks alrdy.

Today nv went schl because of some reasons which I don't want to reveal here and it's quite frustrating to see Arsenal draw. Should have won instead !

Chinese lunar new year is approaching and many shops are selling the CNY products now. It's like about a month away. I will had a dull CNY but nevertheless, the food and the atmosphere will not be less!!!

Gonna shop for clothing soon and I really want my jersey!
